Happy New Year, dear Reader!!! I truly hope that the celebration was exactly as you wanted it (we wanted ours to involve great food, being couch potatoes and watching movies – which it was – yay!) and that 2017 is a great year for you and your loved ones. These pictures sum up our New Year’s pretty well:
So let’s check out our first week of this 9th month of Our Brat Experiment:
To new readers of The Brat Experiment: Husband and I track every single won that we spend on a fantastic app called Money Lover. The app is synched to both of our phones and means that it’s very easy to see where all of our money goes (which is not always pleasant!). I then report on our weekly spending here and write up a summary of our spending for each month. You can check out other weekly spends and the monthly summaries in The Numbers section.
Week’s total: 351 820 won
Necessary: 280 520 won (80%)
Indulgence: 71 300 won (20%)
And now let’s look at how that fits into our plan for this month:
Not bad at all. A good start to our month 🙂 This is especially because we decided to sell Husband’s camera and so got an extra 300 000 won income than we usually get 😀 Which we think we’re going to put towards the Thailand-tattoo fund *shocked/excited face! Husband has a number of tattoos but, while I have always wanted one, my concern about how others would perceive me has always stopped me. But sometime in the journey that was last year… I stopped caring so much about that… Yay!! 🙂 So gorgeous flower-dragons here we come 😀
